This one has me baffled. The shirt is cotton, as what the players wore, and the number on the back is correct also. However, generally the badge was embroidered, rather than it being sewn on. Also the admiral badges around the sleeves were blue on a white background, rather than white on blue. The signatures are all correct and are of the team that played the following season, so they are absolutely spot on.

Mark Wallington often wore shirts that had a badge sewn on like this, so maybe they ran out of shirts and got a batch like this for either the 78/79 season, or part of it. The problem is that the pictures in the programmes only show the home games, so I have not been able to find pictures of us wearing white from this season. Very strange, and I would welcome anyone information on this one.
